Theater St Gallen will participate to its 19th edition in Bordeaux. It's one of the theater, with Basel, that still present and who participated to the 1st edition in Zurich 1970.

Our friends and compatriots in Paris will obviously be part of our Big Event.
After two successive finalist position in Basel (2012) and Torino (2013) and a 3rd place last year in Milan, Paris will probably comes with 2 teams this year for its 9th participation and aims the title.

For its shortest travel since its debut in the competition, (2007 in Venice), we obviously counted on the presence of sympathetic and performing team of Zaragoza.

Zaragoza will celebrate its 10th participation in Bordeaux.

Formidable competitor, Ravenna will try to chain a third consecutive title after Maribor 2014 and Milano 2015.
Ravenna also won 5 editions in 9 particpations.

Career
After studying in Victor Ullate´s School of Madrid with Karemia Moreno, he continues his studies with Angela Santos, Pine Alosa... he begins to form part of the ballet of the Community of Madrid where he stayed until 1996.

In 1991 he obtains in Paris the Great Prize of the Contest of Eurovision for young dancers; in 1996 the Second Prize of the Maya Plisetskaya´s Contest in San Petersburgo; the Prize Dances and Dances, the Best dancer in Italy in 1996 and the Prize Leonide Massine in 2003.

In December 2002, the National Opera of Bordeaux directed by C.Jude invites him to interpret the Prince in the Sleeping Beauty and later, The Tricorne, Icaro, Sextet, Suite an blanc, Nutcracker, Giselle, Coppelia, Swan Lake and Don Quijote.
He also tours with B.O. of Bordeaux, in the Festival of Edinburgh, in the Theatre Mariinsky of Saint Petersburg,In the Theatre Chatelet of Paris, in Budapest, in Italy and Spain.
In September 2006, he opens his own school in Bilbao directed by him, a project of future, and in October 2008, a new school is inaugurated in Amurrio.
On December 31, 2006, he is appointed Leading Dancer of the National Opera of Bordeaux.

We are glad to present Paul Daniel as GodFather of the event.

Paul Daniel is the Music Director and conductor of Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine (ONBA).


Career
Paul Daniel was born in Birmingham (1958).
From 1987 to 1990, he was music director of Opera Factory. From 1990 to 1997, he was Musical Director of Opera North and Principal Conductor of the English Northern Philharmonia.
He became Music Director of English National Opera in 1997.
Then, in 2007, Daniel was named West Australian Symphony Orchestra's Principal Conductor.
Paul Daniel became Music Director of the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine in 2013 and is also currently Principal Conductor and Artistic Director of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Galicia.

Jaroslav Plašil is a Czech footballer who currently plays,as midfielder, for Girondins de Bordeaux and the Czech Republic national football team.

Jaroslav played in his career for Monaco, Osasuna, Catania and now Bordeaux.
